Pierre Shedleur is a graduate of the École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal. He has been a chartered accountant since 1972 and a Fellow of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec since 1996. After several years in private practice, as well as in education and school administration, he joined Québec’s public service in 1980, holding key positions at the Ministère de l’Éducation and the Conseil du trésor.

From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Shedleur was President of the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CSST). In 1997, he joined Bell Canada as Vice-President, Public Sector and Strategic Alliances, and, from 1998 to 2004, he was Senior Vice-President, Business and Public Sector Markets.
