Biographical notes
Monique Mercier has been Executive Vice-President, Law and Human Resources, Emergis Inc. since 1999. Before joining the company she was general counsel for Bell Canada International Inc. Mtre. Mercier also held, from 1989 to 1997, various senior positions within BCE Inc. in corporate and securities laws, mergers and acquisitions, and financing. She also sits on the board of directors of the following organizations
• President of the Advisory Board of the Law Faculty of the
University of Montreal;
• Co-President Fundraising Campaign for Fondation Jean Lapointe;
• Member of the Executive Committee, Association of Canadian
General Counsel;
• Member of the Board of the publishing company “Les Éditions du Passage”.
