Gilles Demers
Deputy Minister, Quebec Ministry of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade
Biographical notes
Mr. Demers has been Deputy Minister in Quebec’s Ministry of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade since April 2005. Prior to that appointment, he served as Assistant Deputy Minister within the same department. He also held various positions in the Priorities Committee of the Executive Council of the Government of Quebec and worked in the Ministry of Finance for 20 years. Mr. Demers is also a member of the board of Investissement Québec.
