SGF’s involvement in the agrifood industry can be seen by the role it plays in consolidating certain business sectors and in merging or expanding Québec’s most successful companies. Support is available to industry leaders seeking to expand or make acquisitions abroad.

• In food processing, we will help companies ensure they have the capacity to meet consumers’ needs or demand in high-growth market segments.
• We work with companies active in biotechnologies to develop and integrate new technologies aimed at improving certain processes and commercializing new value-added products (functional foods and ingredients, probiotics, nutraceuticals, etc.).
• We establish partnerships with industry suppliers and service providers in specific areas such as traceability, food safety, and animal feeding and health.
