Québec contributes an additional $1 billion to SGF
On January 14, 2009, the Minister of Finance and Minister responsible for Infrastructure, Monique Jérôme-Forget, announced measures to stimulate Québec’s economy. In the current context, the government wants to use every lever at its disposal to support the economy and stimulate investment, in particular to carry out major projects in Québec. The additional $1 billion will allow SGF to invest more intenseively in Québec companies and help those affected by the current crisis to have access to more flexible financing.
