Kruger Wayagamack

In 2001, Kruger established a partnership with SGF-Rexfor called Kruger Wayagamack Inc. in Trois-Rivières (Mauricie). Kruger Wayagamack made a major investment of $500 million to modernize its facilities including construction of a new machine with a production capacity of 200,000 metric tons per year of ultra lightweight coated paper.

Kruger Wayagamack also produces 100,000 metric tons of directory paper and 50,000 metric tons of supercalendered paper, as well as two of its own papermaking compounds, kraft pulp (95,000 metric tons) and mechanical pulp (150,000 metric tons), that are used with recycled pulp and thermo mechanical pulp coming from other Kruger mills. Kruger Wayagamack enjoys excellent highway, rail, and port shipping facilities.
