Petresa Canada

Petresa Canada, a subsidiary of CEPSA (Spain), manufactures Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB), a biodegradable used in the manufacturing of household detergents and other secondary products. This company is part of the benzene valorization system installed in Montréal’s petrochemicals cluster.

The Bécancour plant (Centre-du-Québec) produces 120,000 metric tons per year, representing nearly a quarter of North American production capacity.
