Olymel specializes in the slaughtering, processing, and commercializing of pork and poultry products. The company has 16 poultry breeding facilities and 19 slaughtering, processing, and distribution facilities.

Olymel exports a third of its production to foreign markets. Its head office is in Saint-Hyacinthe (Montérégie).
