Frédéric Loiselle is appointed Director, Investments, of the Mines, Materials, Energy and Environment Group
Montréal, December 4, 2007- Luc Séguin, Senior Vice-President, Investments, of the Mines, Materials, Energy and Environment Group, is pleased to announced that Frédéric Loiselle has been appointed Director, Investments, of the Mines, Materials, Energy and Environment Group.
Mr. Loiselle is a graduate of Université Laval and for many years worked for the federal government, including the Department of Justice and the Prime Minister’s Office. He has also worked for Magna International. More recently, Mr. Loiselle was Chief of Staff to the federal Minister of Public Works and Government Services and Minister Responsible for the Montréal Region.
More specifically, he will be involved in business development for SGF’s Materials unit, particularly the aerospace niche, where he has acquired in-depth knowledge in recent years.
Mr. Loiselle joins a highly experienced team of specialists who focus on the mines, materials, chemicals, energy and environment sectors. Through its investments, SGF promotes the development of these sectors and helps attract international companies to Québec.
