Notice of appointment at SGF
Denis Williams is named Director, Investments, of the Mines, Materials, Energy and Environment Group
Montréal, October 11, 2007 – Luc Séguin, Senior Vice-President, Investments, of the Mines, Materials, Energy and Environment Group, is pleased to announce that Denis Williams has joined his team as Director, Investments. Mr. Williams will concentrate more specifically on investments in the materials sector.
Mr. Williams is a corporate finance specialist who spent the past 18 years with Desjardins Venture Capital. His many achievements include contributing to the company’s increased rate of investment. During his career, he has also been involved in many investments in the industrial sector.
He is recognized as an exacting and conscientious developer and investor who relies on teamwork to obtain the best possible results and to achieve corporate objectives.
Mr. Williams joins a seasoned team led by Mr. Séguin and consisting of specialists in the mines, materials, chemicals, energy and environment sector. With its investments, SGF promotes the development of these sectors and encourages international companies to expand into Québec.
