Société générale de financement du Québec partners with 23rd annual Fondation de l’entrepreneurship symposium
Montréal, February 15, 2006 - Société générale de financement du Québec (SGF), mindful of the importance of encouraging the culture of entrepreneurship right across Québec, is pleased and proud to be associated with the 23rd annual symposium of the Fondation de l’entrepreneurship. This high-profile event on the local business agenda takes place this year on February 15 and 16 at the Centre des congrès in Québec City.
Like last year’s symposium, the 2006 edition will draw several thousand participants, who will engage in dialogue on the importance of fashioning a true entrepreneurial culture in Québec.
As a partner in Québec’s policy of sustainable economic development, SGF places great importance on this large-scale gathering. It brings together key stakeholders in economic development, along with new as well as seasoned entrepreneurs from various regions of Québec as well as the rest of Canada.
Along with the other participants in the Symposium, SGF in interested in the hot-button issues of the day, among them public finance, succession planning for businesses and development of entrepreneurial culture. Taking part in these types of events is one way in which SGF adheres to its mission of contributing to the sustainable economic development of Québec.
